What is the procdure in Minnesota to process after death.

The process depends on the size of the estate. If ther eis no real estate and few assets, there may be summary probate filed.

For all other matters, an estate representative would file a "petition" with the court system for appointment as the personal representative. That iindividual would then dispose of the assets pursuant to a will or the intestacy statutes and file an accounting.

You file a "petition" with the court system to appoint a personal representative (fka executor) to wrap up the affairs of the deceased person, sell real estate, collect debts, etc.

That person then files accounts with the court for what he or she collected and where the money went.
