Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Mississippi

Repossession storage fee

I voluntarily agreed to repossession of my mobile home. The mortage company demanded that I be moved out in six days. I meet their time limit and now it has been weeks and the mobile home is still sitting on my property. Can I charge them a daily storage fee until they actually remove the mobile home?

Re: Repossession storage fee

l will need to know the relevant provision of the deed of mortgage on default in payment. The time lag between repossession and actual removal of the trailer park is a factor in your favor. This and the provision of the contract on repossession will determine ultimate liability for the storage fee.
