There are no automatic divorces. You could have grounds for divorce on the basis of desertion if she forced you to leave. There are also about 12 other grounds for a fault based divorce. Alternatively, after all this time she may be willing to agree to an irreconcilable divorce which is the closest thing we have to an automatic divorce. Additionally, it may be possible that the state you are living may allow for an irreconcilable differences divorce without requiring the consent of your wife. In Miss. both parties have to agree to proceed with an irreconcilable differences divorce.
