Legal Question in Immigration Law in Mississippi

I have a friend in california who is engaged to marry a mexican and hewas with her but was deported last month and wants to return before he gets papers.What will her consequences be if he does? If someone is deported can they return and what happens if they return ?

If he returns illegally after deportation he will be permanently inadmissible and ineligible for any immigration benefits, for example, a green card after marriage. It means he will never 'get his papers'.

He needs to stay in his country and wait for approval of the visa, waiver and application for reentry after deportation. It is long and difficult process.
