Legal Question in Personal Injury in Mississippi

the time limit for filling personal injury accident suite

Accident happened in texas. I was told to file in Miss where trucking co is. Lawyer says 3 yr limit inMiss I was told 2 year in texas. 2 year is up today and Miss lawyer didn't file all the papers 2 years ago. Which state limit is correct? Thank you Lance kinney

I practice law in TX so I don't know what the SOL for MS is. But, if you still have time to file under MS statute, why don't you? If your lawyer is from TX and missed the SOL, call the State Bar of TX Grievance Committee.
