Legal Question in Workers Comp in Mississippi
I was injured at work and now have a workmans comp claim being processed. I may have a permanet disability for my right foot. Even with a workmans comp claim, can I pursue a personal injury claim against my employer, (jasper County), as my injury was caused by poor grounds maintenance?

Not your employer as that claim is barred by the exclusivity provision of the workers compensation act. However, you may have a suit against whoever, other than your employer, caused the condition that made you fall.
