Is it legal to change a posted schedule without the employee's permission?

I would need more information, such as the nature of the posted schedule (work shifts or something else). Generally, employment without an agreement is terminable at will, and unless this is a violation of a employee handbook or union agreement, there does not appear to be any legal claim.
