Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri
Small Business bank account
Last year I officially terminated my LLC with a partner and we are no longer on speaking terms. During that time, we had a checking account in the company name with both my name and my partners name on the account. I've tried to close the account twice, but the bank re-opened the account at my partners request. Is there anything legally I can do to make the bank keep this account closed? Even if they take my name off the account, it is in my (terminated) company name which is associated to me. Thanks for your help.

Re: Small Business bank account
The Operating Agreement should set forth the requirements for opening and closing the bank account. Take a look at the same, and it depends if the LLC is a manager managed or member managed LLC.
