defamation of character on myspace
I recently was physically abused by my ex and told my story on myspace including pictures of my black eye and pictures of the dozens of threatening text messages from him (including his full name). Can I be sued for defamation of character?

The question "can I get sued?" is almost alwyas answered "Yes." Whether the suit will be successful is another thing. Based upon what you said in yrou question, it appears that you would not be found liable for defamation of character. That is, IF you only told the truth.
