Legal Question in Construction Law in Missouri
I own a rain gutter installation company in MO. I installed gutters on a customers home he called and said he was not satisfied so we went back twice until I was able to convince him that this is how it has to look in order for them to function correctly. His house has settled in places far away from where the water has to go so it looks as if it has a very hard pitch. He wrote me a check and then two weeks later put a stop payment. What can I do about this? thank you

It sounds like you may have to sue the customer for the debt. Prior to that, you might need an attorney to write to them, to give them a chance to pay before getting sued.
Good luck
