Re: different levels of a dwi
Your father is in very seriouos trouble and is looking at serious time in prison. If he can afford to hire an attorney he should hire the very best one he can get. I would require a retainer fee in the amount of $10,000 to represent him, and more if a trial was required. if he can not hire an attorney the pulic defender will represent him. Good luck.

Unfortunately for him, in AUgust, 2005, Missouri amended RSMo. 577.023 to make a fourth DWI offense lifetime in Missouri a C Felony.
A Missouri Class C Felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Obviously, he needs to consult a specialist in this type of case when facing such harsh penalties.
