My mother was in a nursing home and passed away. Am I responsible for payment to the home?

I am sorry to hear about your Mother's pasding. Yoy have my condolences. If you did bit execute an agreement to be responsible for the nursing home bill, or didn't orherwise agree to do so, you are not directly be spinsible for her debt. But, you may pay indirectly. Her estate may he.liable for the bills. Therefore, what you may have inherited from her can be reduced or eliminated to satisfy her creditors.
