Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

There is a court order on when children should be with each parent. If the noncustodial parent insists on more time does the custodial parent have the legal right to refuse more time and insist the custody agreement be followed? How should the custodial parent respond to the noncustodial parent?

The noncustodial parent has the.opportunity to ask the Judge.to amend the visitation s hefule. The.custodial parent can choose not to have the children with the other parent for.more time than the visitation agreement calls for.

If the noncustodial parent repeatedly fails to bring the children back on time, the custodial parent can ask the Judge to hold the.noncustodial parent in Contempt of the visitation and custody Order.

Good luck
