Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
Does the guardianship have to be someone outside the family or can it be a family member? My first question was how do you take Power Of Attorney away from a sister who is abusing it?

Guardians and conservators are often family members of the ward/protectee. If the Guardain ro conservator is not domiciled in Missouri, they would have to name a local agent, in order to be considered as the G or C. If, as you allege, the attorney in fact is abusing the protectee, than that woudl need to be plead in order to get a probate court to override the POA designation and appoint a G&C.
