As a parent do I have the right to read any mail that comes to my mail box, even though my child is of age?

Even though you are probably concerned with protecting your child, I believe that Federal law makes it a crime to read mail addressed to someone else unless you have that person's permission to do so. Why not play it safe, and have your child give you permission?
