No Insurance
What is the law that allows the state of Missouri / hospitals to turn away people with non life threating health problems with no insurance?
Would like a copy.

The federal EMTLA law requires an ER to treat you and to assess, but need not do anything if you are stable. There is no law that requires a hospital to treat a non-emergent health issue (like a cold)
