Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri
Joint Tenancy with right of Suviviorship stated clearly in the deed. One partner
passes away, the property should pass to the Survivor without question. But, the son of the deceased obtains a Quitclaim Deed and files it against the property. Why would this be allowed? What can be done to remove this cloud on title?

The "Survivor" can file a lawsuit to Quiet Title, and if the "Survivor" is sucessful the Judgment will remove the cloud upon the title.
