I am on medecaid and medicare. I would like to protect my house in case of prolong stay in the nursing home. My son has live with me and assists me for many years, what would be the best way to protect my house that my son can take over the house?

Deed the house to him now. If you survive long enough, the government may not seek to undo the transfer.
