Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Missouri
I have it on email but is it a case?
This is a multi billion dollar corporation that has offices throughout the US. The supervisor in question is the regional manager over the entire midwest region.
I was recently fired from my position for being absent too often. The fact is, the regional manager started hitting on me from day one telling me how attractive I am and how much he enjoys the attention he receives from other males when we attend business lunches. It went from this to a pat on the behind, to several emails describing how excited I get him, can he stay in my room at the conference, etc. At first I played it all off because I LOVE my job and thought he was just playing around and was harmless. This is ALL by email.
Once it was clear that I was not interested he apologized to me for acting inappropriately. I just said ''it's okay''. I was worried he would fire me if I seemed upset.
From that day on he would barely speak and started to reprimans me for being late/absent, which I was not. Now, I did have a couple of incidents where my car broke down, son was hospitalized, then he fired me. During this conversation, he said that he still wanted to be 'buddies' and that we should get together for a happy hour and maybe I could get my job back.

Hello,
You may have a good case. Sexual harassment cases are difficult to prove but when you have copies of e-mails that are sexual in nature, it certainly helps. There are some strict time limits in these cases so it is important that you talk to an attorney as soon as possible. If you wish, I would enjoy speaking with you about the case. You may call me at your convenience at (800) 962-5363. Good luck and I hope to talk to you soon.
