Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri

Accident in my vehicle-no insurance but I was not driving

I have two vehicles. One I drive and one I don't. I did not have insurance on the one I do not drive. Someone borrowed it and had an accident in it. I was not driving and I was not involved in the accident whatsoever. Am I legally responsible to pay for damages to the other party's vehicle? Or is it the responsibility of the person driving my vehicle? I have received a notice my license will be suspended in less than one month because I have not paid for damages for an accident I was involved in. But I was not physically there. Also-while dealing with the other driver's insurance company they seem to think that I was the one driving the car.

You need to get an attorney, if you wish to avoid delay and possibly ajudgement against you. You may be liable, so seek face-toface help soon. There are too many fact based variables to give you a certain answer here, based on your general facts. Act to get help sooner rather than later.

Good Luck
