Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
car accident
A friend of mine got in a car accident he was in the wrong,no license,speeding,there was drugs involved but i don't if he used any he claims he did not. but it was really bad he was the worst but everyone is ok now the law is trying to charge him with attempted murder. Can they do this and if so what can happen to him? He is 17 and has been in for car thieft a few years ago.PLEASE HELP?

It sounds like your friend needs the services of an attorney ASAP. You did not provide enough factual information to say whether a charge of Attempted Murder could be prosecuted. There are many criteria that are changed by changes in the factual situation. Unless you were in teh car with him, you probably can't provide enough information to obtain efective legal advice. Therefore, my advice is for you to advise your friend to consult and hire an attorney as soon as he can, and to give no statements to anyone until he does.
