Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
Parking lot ding liability?
I door-dinged another car's bumper at a
grocery store parking lot Saturday. The
owner was irate and wants me to pay
to have the .10 of an inch ''ding'' fixed.
She got a bid of nearly $400 to paint
the entire bumper. Am I liable??

Under the facts you described, it sounds like you you probably are liable for the damage to the other car. If your insurer is not covering this damage, you should insist on the car being evaluated and damage appraised at a repair shop of your choosing, before agreeing to pay anything.
