Legal Question in Veterans Law in Missouri

Need attorney to assist in my appeal and hearing for 100% Service Connected Dis

I received mail from the VA in St. Louis today. It said that I had 60 days to formally file an appeal to their turning down my first request for 100% disability. They also said I could request a hearing first. I sent them a twelve page letter spelling out all the weird, but dangerous things I endured while on active duty. They don't seem to have received it. If they had I don't think they would be challening my request.

So I'm seeking an attorney who is licensed to practice in Missouri to help me with this case. I first filed it in August of 2003. So I will have over two years of back pay by the time I get approved.

There are two service organizations that deal with these first stage appeals and I recommend them highly. One group is the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the second is the PVA, the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Both should have an office in the St.Louis area and their services are free to veterans.

Good Luck!!
