Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

The money in trust was tied up in a CD which would have a penalty for early withdrawal. The perswon in trust has passed away and now the Cd can be cashed withour a penalty. Can I go back 3 months and pay for around the clock care that was required for about 6 weeks of that time for the person whose trust it is? I am the executor and daughter and much of the care was done by me and my family members.

The trust probably has a provision allowing for such payment. Was the care professionally rendered or by family members? If the latter, how accurate is the time record? Many times such matters create problems within a family if some members think that such remuneration is a method for inequitable distribution.
