Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

My mother was executor or my grandfathers estate,I was a beneficiary.But my mother would not give us a copy of the will and the estate attorney would not speak with us.It has been 3 years , but I am just now finding information that shows my mother was not honest.Do I have any rights now?

You might have some rights -- as a starting point why don't you go to the court where the will was probated and review the file -- that should give you a whole lot of information. You obviously could get a copy of the will there. Without knowing what the dishonesty was and how it impacted you it's tough to answer much further.

specifically, you will want to look at the will. You also need to determine if this was a supervised estate. Look at the accountings that were filed.
