Time limit on selling property that was left 50/50 in a will

If property was left to two different people in a will and everything was to be spilt 50/50 is there a time limit on how long you have to sell the property or to buy out your half?

There is no hard time limit. The personal representative of the estate can determine in thecourse of administration to sell the property or he can determine to pass title to the beneficiaries 50/50.

You do not mention whether an estate has been opened, and if so, for how long it has been so. If you would like to discuss the specific facts surrounding this matter, I will be happy to do so at no charge. With a few more facts, I will be in a much better position to outline hwat can be done.
