Legal Question in Construction Law in Montana

I have a business in Montana, however distribute my product all over the states, am I governed by Montana lien law or the state of my distributor?

Dear Inquirer: You are governed by the laws of each state in which you do business. That is, unless you merely operate in one basic place of business in one state, and ship your products to other states. In such case, you are governed by the laws of the state in which your business "resides" or do business.
