severance pay

i worked for a company that went out of bussiness. they gave me my two week vacations pay. was i entitled to severance pat to.

No not unless you had some contract with them that provided for severance in the event of your termination.

EMployees usually have priority for payment even in Bankruptcy. Were you employed by individual or corporation?
