Legal Question in Military Law in Montana
I Needed help and was ignored
I grad basic 3 weeks ago and had been suffering depression, panic attacks and suicidal thoughts for about 3 weeks. i reported this to my drill sargents. i was then told to process out in AIT cause it would be faster than doing it at basic. when i reported to the new assignment i requested a appointment with a doctor. i presented my case and exsplained that i had a 15 years of documented mental issues with ADHD. i was totally ignored by the doctors and my command/ drill sargeants. i had a severe panic attack a week ago and went awol. after 4 days i turned myself back in. again requesting help from medical staff. i recieved the same runaround from the command and medical staff. 2 days ago i had 4 panic attacks and was suffering from severe depression. feeling that i was a risk of harming myself of someone else. (feeling suicidal) i felt it best to leave the situation and consult with legal reps to figure out what to do. i am presently AWOL again. i need to get out of the national guard. i was denyed help at fort gordon. what do i need to do next. i know that awol is a last option but i had nothing left. i need legal advice. i cant eat, sleep or focus. what do i do now? I am desperate.
