right to pick orthopedic specialist
When sent by the employers physician to a specialist, do I have the right to choose my own specialist?

Re: right to pick orthopedic specialist
If your condition requires surgery you are entitled to chose your own surgeon. Also, you may have your own established family doctor as your primary treating doctor under most circumstances. If there is a managed care plan in place some of the rules are different. You should speak with a knowledgeable attorney early rather than later to assist you throughout the handling of the claim. Be wary of an attorney who seeks to charge you on your TTD benefits that are already being paid.
