can i keep my vehicle if i still owe money on it and am current on my payments

You may be required to sign a reaffirmation agreement in order to keep the car, but this usually is not a problem as most lenders are eager to have you keep the loan current. You may be required to appear in court to obtain approval of the reaffirmation.
