Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Domestic Violence
Me and my fiance were involved in a fight. He called the police filed a police report so did I. Later after about a month and a half we reconciled and got married. Neither of us pressed charges. I just want to know if he could go to jail. He's never been in any trouble before. No priors. Is there anything I can do to prevent him from going to jail.

2 days of jail time is the minimum but he would get credit for time served. As long as a weapon was not involved and as long as there was no substantial bodily harm additional jail time is unlikely.
