Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

common property

My girlfriend and I bought a house together last year. We are splitting up and cannot come to an agreement as to selling/residing in the house. What steps or legal action can I take at this point?

Re: common property

You can Petition the civil court for a partition and sale which would force a sale of the house.

Re: common property

You would need to file a partition action if you and she cannot reach an agreement. How the property is titled is of importance as is the amount each party has contributed. If the property is partioned, it is sold or one party can buy out the other party for the Fair Market Value.
