Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

How would I know if I am divorced for another state.

My spouse moved out of state before we filed for divorce. My spouse said that it will be done in the state where spouse will be residing. How would I find out? I did not know if in fact there was divorce ever filed in the above individuals residing state? I have already check with the clerk of the courts in the various counties/cities where this individual lives. I have remarried. What consequences can be assessed if my spouse did file the divorce paper in court where residing.

Come on! If you didn't file for divorce and he has never sent you divorce papers even though he has known where you lived all along, AND there is no record of a divorce in any place where he has lived since the divorce, you must know that you don't have a divorce. So what were you thinking - getting married without a divorce? If you live in Clark County Nevada and want a divorce, call me for an appointment and I'll gladly take care of this for you.
