Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

TPO extended

I live in California. My family has been harassed by other family members residing in Henderson Nevada. After I put a CA restaint order on them, they filed for a TPO in Nevada. I appeared once on this matter traveling to Nevada and the cases were dismissed however recently they refiled their false claims and I was not contacted by the court so the TPO was extended for one year. I have absolutly no contact with these individuals and I believe they are filing all of these false claims just to continue to harass my family. Since I have no contact, should I care that they have this TPO extension? Should I appeal?

Thank you

Re: TPO extended

Yes, you should care as it is on your record. If you ever wish to purchase a gun, it might prevent you from doing so. Better safe than sorry.

Furthermore, you have a case for "abuse of process", coincidentally, I am in the middle of one relating to false TPOs right now.
