Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Verbal Agreement between father and mother for two years now its changed

I was never married but had a child name Nicole her father (Lee) and I have been separated for about 2 years now and have had a verbal agreement on her well being. He basically would pay $150 a month her insurance etc. About 5 Months ago I moved to Folsom, CA with Lee's father to start a business. Two days ago my sister who is renting my house in Las Vegas received a summons on behalf of Nicole. Basically stating that he doesn't want me to move to CA, no child support, wants to see her every weekend. Not sure what to do. IM not sure if he even served me properly. Should I get an attorney in Nevada or California? Please Help.

You need to contact a Nevada Attorney regarding whether you were properly served. If you were not properly served in Nevada then hire a attorney in California and inquire into filing a petition to establish paternity. The paternity case will also provide a forum in which custody, visitation and support can be ordered.
