Legal Question in Immigration Law in Nevada
can a 16 year old girl married to an 18 year old petition for him/husband to legalize him. located in las vegas nevada
1 Answer from Attorneys
A 16-year old girl should consult an immigration attorney before deciding what she can do to legilize her husband. Please keep in mind that even if legally married, sometimes you may not be able to make your husband legal. Also, you will be required to sponsor your husband, and for that you have to be 18 or older. If not married yet, it makes more sense to consult an attorney in advance.
