Legal Question in Immigration Law in Nevada

Hello! I applied for a political asylum a long time ago and my case is still pending. And I'm in a process of getting a work authorization. My question is if I am eligible to get a state ID providing my old ID from another state I used to live in and documents proving my case and proving my state residency by providing utility bills and etc. Thank you in advance.

A person in possession of a valid and unexpired work permit (EAD) can apply for a driver license. Usually, a driver license is set to expire when the work permit expires, and you will have to reapply to renew both on a regular basis, assuming that your asylum case is still pending.
