Legal Question in Immigration Law in Nevada

Situation: My husband is American. I came to Canada last year as a visitor on leave of absence from work for 3 months to see him and we ended up getting married. We have not filed paper work to stay in the US but I have been in America for 10 months and unemployed. We are now trying to decide whether to return to Canada or remain in the US. What is the best option for us? Also the most affordable option for us? And if at all possible, rough estimates of cost?

Thank you!
