Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada
My daughter damaged a car registered to me the parent and was arrested for a DUI. There is full coverage on the vehicle. What is the smartest why to deal with the insurance company. What do I need to know if the insurance company refuses to pay for repair or if totaled?

If the car is totalled the insurance company must give you replacement value and they keep the car and sell it for salvage or you keep the car and they deduct salvage from replacement value.
Since you have collision coverage assume the insurance will pay. If they refuse, take the denial letter to an attorney and, depending on the value of the car, see if you can interest an attorney on taking a case against the insurance company on a contingent fee basis.
