Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada
My son's dog attacked a UPS employee, while on duty, outside my parents' gated home about two months ago and now is suing my son. The attacked was minor, few bruises, that he did not need to go to the emergency room. Because it happened during working hours, his supervisors came over and did their own investigation. After talking to him few hours later that day, he said that he did not go to the hospital because he didn't have money so he worked the rest of the day.
My questions are:
1) Since this incident happened at the time the victim did not do a delivery at my parents' residence and the attacked happened between the fence and the street, is my son liable for the injury?
2) If yes to question #1, are my parents' also liable for the injury? They are also named in the lawsuit.
3) Should my son seek an attorney?
Thank you.

The dog should not have been outside the residence. Your son and parents are very likely liable. Your parents may have homeowner's insurance that will cover this. Talk to the insurance company immediately. If they provide coverage they will either pay the claim or hire an attorney for you.
