Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Hampshire
lost my license due to speeding ticket, im 19yrs old. paid the fine, had a late fee, lost it for 20 days. paid the fine, got caught driving while under suspension, went to court, paid my fine, at court they said there is no additional loss of license. ive been getting the same letters i got the first time in the mail. i ignored them because i figured it was a mistake. got a letter yesterday said license was suspended i called dmv, transfered to chief of hearing, said im going through it again because im under 20. What should i do?

First, make sure you go tot he hearing. The reason this happened is that there are two legal authorities that you must satisfy:
1. The Court and you paid the fine.
2. The Department of Safety. They have their own rules governing who can have a license. Although the court had no intention of taking your license, DMV did and they have the right and power to do so. I imagine the hearings officer will not look too favorably on you since you drove after the first suspension and you only had to wait 20 days. Nevertheless, go to the hearing and make your case.
