Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Hampshire
hidden cameras in post office by OIG
I found some hidden cameras in my p.o. 2 weeks ago that turned out to be the OIG. They showed up that night when they found out I discovered I'd found the cameras. There are several issues that I'm worried about. I had unauthorized persons on the workroom floor. One of which is seen snorting a pain killer-not mine. I have a script for my own which I was also seen snorting. I had a salary advance in my drawer that I had done wrong and was going to fix on Sat. since I was working that day anyway, but since this happened on Fri I never had a chance, so now I have money order vouchers without the money in my drawer and no way to explain what happened- looks BAD! I was also slack in doing drawer counts, and when I did them I took any shortage into my own credit so I wouldn't have to report it. I didn't want to get in trouble, and I thought I could put the money in out of my own pocket over time. I ran out of time, and when they counted the office- with the sal. advance done wrong, the office was short $5000. The quests. they asked me that night were all about me selling my script- which I don't, but I'm assuming that's why they were there in the first place.
