Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

I'm a disabled veteran I was assaulted by another veteran at a VA hospital while I was receiving services. The VAs risk management dept sent me a form to claim damages, I spoke with an attorney an he suggested I ask for more than i did. I tried to contact a lawyer who can represent me an every law firm says they "we don't do that" so who can help in NJ?

Thank you for your inquiry. If there was a lack of security at the hospital in light of the nature of the patients being treated, and, if the assault has left you with a permanent injury, you may be able to pursue a claim for damages. However, please note that there are strict time limitations associated with making a claim against the VA. Accordingly, I encourage you to call my firm and speak with me or one of my partners as soon as possible. We look forward to speaking with you and will assist you in whatever way we can. Please call us at (973)635-5400.
