Can a Chapter 13 payments be paid to the trustee in one lump sum or must it be paid out monthly for the 3 year period?

Chapter 13 payments
Generally, Chapter 13 payments are made by your employer from wage withholding. However, you can always make payments on the side. If you can get someone to loan you the money to pay your plan in full, you may do so and your discharge comes in a month rather than in 3 years.
