Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

Where to be Based?

I am currently a New Jersey resident. I want to start an internet business. The next few years I will be living in various places around the country for about 3 months or so at a time. Where should I base my business? Would Delaware be appropraite?

Re: Where to be Based?

Deciding on a location for your business entity can be very tricky. Even though you are a New Jersey resident, since you plan on changing residences, I would avoid setting up in New Jersey. Currently, NJ has high income tax as well as a sales tax on some internet services.

You need a tax and business lawyer to help you choose the right location and form of entity.

I hope this helps!
