Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Jersey
car towed out
I had my car towed out of a McDonalds. I do not have a receipt to proof that I conducted business. To reclaim the car from a private towing company (not the city), I had to pay $225.00 . The prices for taking out the car from the city impound are near 100.00 or less . I feel that I was taking advantage by the towing company. Do I have a case?, what things I can do to win it. By the way this happened in the New Jersey. Thank you

Re: car towed out
It depends on the sign placed at McDonalds' premises and/or how long you were there. Assuming you were not a customer, you were illegally parked. The $100 sounds reasonable.
