Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey

Getting my money back

I have been yting to get my money back from sunrocket since Sept. Back in June I signed up,but I wanted to keep my number. They said it would take about a month. In July they still hadnot start my information yet. In Sept. they transferred my phone number. My problem was every time I was on the phone it would cut out and I would loose connection. I would have to reboot and hope that would work. So I the end od sept.(2 weeks) trying to work the problem out. I dropped them and went to another phone company and since then have not had any problems(except 1). That one was I was not getting my money back. When I had all the problems from June though Sept. I must have called them a few dozens times. At the end of sept I them and stop service but The first time the computers were down and the next time the phone line was not clear. I had never gotten service from them but yet I paid for 15 months of service. The big problem came in Sept. I had just had a surgery and a day later I needed to get a hold of the doctor and I could not get them with the phone service I had(it cut out). The reason I wanted to keep my phone number I have doctors with this number. I have a heart problem for the last thirteen years. I am on bleed thinners and that

Re: Getting my money back

There is a good chance that you are entitled to contract damages (15 months of service) and can sue for that. It is my guess that the company's warranty disclaims any other damages and, if well written, would give them a good defense. Whether it is worth hiring a lawyer to handle the suit for you depends on the amount involved.
