Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

I just found out that a judgment was enter aganit me in october of 2006 for a credit card. I filed paper to have the judgment vacate, the collection agency wants to have an oral arrguement, so now i have a court date this friday. they refused to give me any info on the matter when i sent them a letter to prove the debt, they said it too late for me to ask for proof, I told the court and them that i never received any paper from them. so i decided to call up the orignal creditor and they said that the account is over seven years old and they don't have any information, it was write off and sold, so i call that collection they didn't have any info either. but i still have to go to court to fight this judgment. help

Not sure how much they say you owe, but you may want to think about getting an attorney to help you. Without one, you could get run over in court. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.
