Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey
Husband Stole My Idenity
My husband applied for numerous credit card in my name without my knowledge. I recently got notification from one credit card company that there is a levy on my house. When I approached my husband, he wouldn't tell me how much he charged or where he used these card. I later found out that he wasn't paying the mortage and car payments either. How do I get my name expunged from this debt that he created under my name? How do I get to keep my house and car?
